Shelter Clinical Case Manager- Sure Stay-Smithfield, RI

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide clinical support to residents in the shelter as well as supervision of all case managers. Assign each individual to a case manager for assessment of need and for the development of a unique housing plan. Assist Shelter manager to ensure program adherence to all relevant licensing, funding, and accreditation standards. Participate in ongoing training and participation in any agency-wide efforts. Preference to bi-lingual/multi-lingual individuals.

· Oversee client's concerns/complaints and participate in conflict resolution.

· Assign residents to case managers

· Provide Supervision to all case managers

· Participate in on-going training and any state efforts regarding the housing population.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

BA in clinical field with a minimum of three-five years of employment in human services field, preferably in the provision of shelter/housing services.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Services are provided via the Shelter and in the community. Must be flexible and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. May have to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
