You Are:

An energetic, independent, flexible, and organized RN

Experienced with or interested in helping young adults (16-25) diagnosed with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.

Comfortable educating clients, families, and colleagues about your interventions

Dedicated holistic, creative, person-centered care.

 

 

We are:

A talented multi-disciplinary team of mental health clinicians, caseworkers, vocational/educational specialists, and a psychiatrist.

Community-based, meeting people where they are with the evidence-based Coordinated Specialty Care model for First Episode Psychosis and other serious psychiatric symptoms.

Dedicated to helping our clients transition from pediatric to adult physical and mental healthcare, and build independence, understanding, and self-advocacy as they grow.

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are by no means limited to:

  • Biopsychosocial assessment of clients in their and community milieu.
  • Health teaching, including helping individuals' families build an understanding of their mental illness.
  • Coordinating client access to pre-packaged medications when necessary
  • Coordinating and sometimes attending appointments and confirming client understanding of findings and follow-up
  • Administering injectable antipsychotic medications, sometimes in the context of court-ordered treatment
  • Occasional availability in early evenings to meet the needs of employed clients.
  • Timely documentation according to agency standards and state regulations.
