NRI Shelter Case Manager-Woonsocket, RI

Join an active, supportive team and make a difference in people's lives!  Come and be part of our Woonsocket Family Shelter Team!  Shelter Case Manager will provide case management and direct support to individuals and families who are residents of the Emergency Shelter and the other housing programs.  The purpose is to assist families in stabilizing their situations and maintaining a successful transition to independent and self-sufficient living.  The case manager will be expected to connect families to resources in the community, coordinate services, establish and maintain service plans that guide involvement in the program, and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.  This position will also teach a life skills class, conduct room inspections, prepare rooms for new residents, and other duties as assigned.  Attending agency, team and community meetings as assigned.  This individual must have the ability to work independently and also within a team.  

Education and Licensing Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field and/or relevant experience.  Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply!
