Master's Rehabilitation Specialist
Our Integrated Community Treatment Team (ICTT) is seeking a full-time Masters Rehabilitation Specialist to start immediately. In behavioral health care, integrated care involves collaboration between service providers of varying types, as well as external providers of medical and primary care. An integrated approach aims to provide holistic prevention and treatment that addresses the biological, psychological, and social needs of a client. We serve adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and often co-occurring substance use disorders.
The Masters Rehabilitation Specialists role within the multidisciplinary team is to provide psychosocial rehabilitation counseling to psychiatrically disabled adults and their families, to promote community integration and assist clients in achieving their recovery goals through case management, independent living and social skills training, social support and network enhancement, and access to leisure activities. Individual and group services are provided to develop, enhance, and retain skills and competencies in the areas of living, learning, working, and socializing. Through participation in the development and implementation of individualized Recovery Plans, Masters Rehabilitation Specialists will monitor and track the progress of clients on their assigned caseload.
The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, communicates effectively in written and oral forms, and has basic computer and email skills.
While this role is primarily office based, home visits and client transportation may be required for when working with clients with enhanced needs. Mileage is reimbursed.
Position is Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00.
Education/Licensing Requirements: Masters in Psych Rehab is required. Approved driver's record, current and active auto insurance and reliable transportation required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in employment services, behavioral health and substance use disorders is preferred.
