Executive Assistant/Health Information Supervisor-Woonsocket, RI

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist the Chief Operating Officer in the daily functions of the Administration Division, including efficient inter/intra-departmental project collaboration. Prepare and organize all documentation requirements for licensing and accreditation site visits. Assist in workgroups and activities related to the development/implementation of administrative protocols and tracking systems. Assist in the development, tracking and annual updating of agency wide policies and procedures. Process all incident reports and utilize Therapy, the BHDDH incident report data entry system, for any critical incidents that the state deems reportable (e.g., unexpected deaths, suicides, drug overdoses, etc.). Transcribe minutes, create agendas and send out reminders for the Planning and Program Review Committee, a sub-committee of the Board of Directors.

Provide direct supervision to all Health Information staff, including the Transcriptionist. Assist in the maintenance of paper records that are kept onsite, keeping track of which records can be destroyed according to policy standards. Maintain a higher level of confidentiality with sensitive information.

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in the Health Information field preferred. Proficient typist. Proficiency in the use of various Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to, Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Data analysis experience preferred. Professional writing skills.
