Deputy Vice President of Acute Services

Community Care Alliance is seeking a Deputy Vice President for its Acute Services Division. The Deputy Vice President will report directly to the Vice President of Acute Services and will be responsible for:
 
  • Directly supervising substance use program managers (IOP, residential); duties to include: 

    • Ensure recovery plans and clinical documentation are completed timely and in line with agency-accepted best practices and standards, while training staff and implementing PQI processes where necessary.

    • Support managers in ensuring program staff are proceeding toward LCDP.

    • Complete annual performance appraisals.  

  • Assisting program managers and directors in regularly reviewing, drafting, and modifying policies and procedures.

  • Assisting program managers and directors in PQI and client satisfaction survey efforts.

  • Providing on-site operational support to program managers and directors on a rotating basis (i.e., regularly visiting each program site within the division).

  • Overseeing compliance to contracting requirements, particularly regarding CCBHC and BH LINK/988. 

  • Overseeing compliance to requirements from accrediting bodies and, in partnership with the program development manager, overseeing preparation for re-accreditation site visits and audits. 

  • Identifying training needs within each program and working with the VP and program development manager to create and monitor training plans accordingly. 

 
Some rotating on-call responsibilities required. 
 
Education/Licensing requirements/skills: Masters in a human services-related field required. Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC) highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience providing direct care and/or supervision in substance use treatment programs required. LCDP preferred. Minimum of two years' supervisory experience required, with preference given to candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in compliance and quality assurance. Must be willing to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) licensure upon 6 months of hire: all training, experience, and expenses covered.
