Penguin Mile is a Cumberland-based web app that helps small business owners keep their financing documents organized and ready. Tax returns, financial statements, bank statements, leases and licenses live in one secure place. Owners can invite their CPA or bookkeeper to upload documents directly, then share their file with the lenders they choose, one or several at once, instead of digging through old emails and re-sending the same paperwork every time.

Penguin Mile was founded by Jim Culhane, who spent years on the lending side and watched good businesses get slowed down by scattered paperwork. Penguin Mile doesn’t arrange loans or make lending decisions. It helps owners show up with a complete file.
